Safe haven from inhuman abominations, popular spot of traitorous activity. Go figure.
Lobby: Everybody |
The Chapel is the holy section of the ship, a place of prayer and peace. Until someone comes and bombs it. The chapel is the only place on the station that prevents wizards from casting spells. It is also dangerous ground for the vampire, and will cause burn damage to them as long as they are within. This area features the following amenities:
- Lobby: Actual pews, so the chapel can look like a legitimate place of worship rather some sort of chair depot. Comes with a state-of-art sound system.
- Chapel Storage: A small tileless area with extra coffins and an old piano.
- Confessional: Two booths with a one-way window between them.
- Courtroom Holding Cell: The place where security sends their convicts to prepare for their trials. Comes with a crate full of fruits for customary tomato throwing and a closet with lawyer suits and briefcases.
- Prosecutor Cell: A place where person arguing against said convict might sit. Or maybe just a booth for singing showtunes. Contains an amusing duck and a genuine pair of sunglasses.
- Mime's Corner: Has a wardrobe with berets, black-and-white striped shirts, and other Mime staples...and a ladder under it to a mafia-themed miniroom.
- Chaplain's Office: The Chaplain's starting point. Contains a Deus Ex Machina vending machine, loaded with lots of great outfits, and a crate with a Ouija board in it, for limited conversation with the dead.
- Crematorium: Contains the namesake machine, which turns people and their belongings into a pile of ash with same sounds as the Kitchen's oven for some reason. Preferred method of disposing of changelings. Almost never used, so a decent place to hide corpses/the evidence. Bodies put in morgue units do not decay. The doctors in medbay can send corpses here from their morgue.
Maintenance Information
There are no vents. Another hole like that would make this place too holy.
The Lobby, Confessional, Mass Driver, Confessional, Courtroom Holding Cell, Prosecutor Cell, Mime's Corner, and Chapel Storage areas are all controlled by the Chapel APC in the maintenance tunnel left of the general area, specifically just outside the Mime's Corner. The APC for the Chaplain's Office is in its top left, by the bed and Deus Ex Machina vending machine, while the APC for the Crematorium is also in the top left of the room, by the morgue units.

- Chapel: Several stools. Presumably the reason the tourbot calls this a chair repository. Table at the back also contains unfortunately immobile candles, a great view of an aquarium, and a few Ouija boards for limited conversation with the dead. Table near the front contains more immobile candles, a cool reed organ, paper and pens, a phone, and a wardrobe of fancy clothes and outfits for the Mime.
- Nerd Dungeon/Game Room: Contains everything you need to play Station & Syndicates. Just add nerds. Be warned, the more people find out about your campaign, the greater your chances of being bombed become.
- Chaplain's Office: The chaplain's starting point. Contains the Deus Ex Machina vending machine, the source of the Chaplain's great outfits.
- Morgue: Almost never used, so a decent place to hide corpses/the evidence. Bodies put in trays do not decay. The doctors in medbay can send corpses here from their morgue.
- Confessional: Two booths with a one-way window between them.
- Mass Driver: Launches items into space. Meant for coffins, but more often used to escort wizards and traitors from the premises.
- Crematorium: The other way to get rid of bodies. Turns people and their belongings into a pile of ash. Has the same sounds as the Kitchen's oven for some reason. Preferred method of disposing of changelings.
Maintenance Information
The Chapel Emergency Air Hookup can resupply air into the actual Chapel, Confessional, and Game Room areas.
The APC for the Chapel, Game Room, and Mass Driver is near the entrance into the Chaplain's Office. The APC for the Chaplain's Office is in the top right corner of the room, while the APC for the Crematorium is in the maintenance area below it. The Confessional doesn't have a APC, because it doesn't need one; after all, its doors are made out of wood (though the lighting is controlled by the Chaplain's Office APC).

The Chapel is the holy section of the ship, a place of prayer and peace, located right next to the Bridge and AI Chamber as if Command had a divine right thing going on. That is, until someone comes and bombs it.
Has an Ouija board for limited conversation with the dead.
- Chaplain's Office: The chaplain's starting point. Contains his locker of great outfits, and a spare bible and vial of holy water.
- Morgue: Almost never used, so a decent place to hide corpses/the evidence. Bodies put in trays do not decay. The doctors in medbay can send corpses here from their morgue.
- Crematorium: Turns people and their belongings into a pile of ash. Has the same sounds as the Kitchen's oven for some reason. Preferred method of disposing of changelings.
Maintenance Information
The APCs for each of these facilities is in the maintenance tunnel right of it.

The Chapel is the holy section of the ship, a place of healing and peace, located right next to the Fitness Center and a short walk from Medbay. Technically, this place is the Community Center, hence the generic stage setup and the general lack of religion-specific imagery or architecture, but try telling that to the Chaplain.
The chapel is the only place on the station that prevents wizards from casting spells. It is also dangerous ground for the vampire, and will cause burn damage to them as long as they are within. This area features the following amenities:
- Lobby: Benches, because as a Community Center it's supposed to be at the very least non-denominational. At least it means this place gets a gorgeous stage like the Bar. The booth on the stage has an Ouija board for limited conversation with the dead.
- Chaplain's Office: The chaplain's little office. Contains a spare bible, vial of holy water, and a Deus Ex Machina vending machine stocked with great outfits.
- Morgue: Bodies put in trays do not decay. The doctors in medbay can send corpses here from their morgue.
- Crematorium: Little oven thing in the Morgue big enough to be worth noting. Turns people and their belongings into a pile of ash. Has the same sounds as the Kitchen's oven for some reason. Preferred method of disposing of changelings.
Maintenance Information
There are no vents in any of these rooms. The divine air of holiness of the Chaplain can consecrate, but not oxygenate, sadly.
The APC for the lobby area is in the grey-tiled room on the stage, the APC for the Chaplain's Office on the left wall and near the Chaplain's vending machine, and the APC for the Morgue/Crematorium is on the top wall next to the sink. No, the APC in the bottom left doesn't control anything here; that one actually controls Medbay Lobby.

The Chapel is the holy section of the station, a place of prayer and peace, appropriately located near a place of rest and a place of contemplation. Until someone comes and bombs it. The Chapel is the holy section of the station, located not too far from a place of a considerably different holey. (The Engineers need all the help they can get we suppose.) The chapel is the only place on the station that prevents wizards from casting spells. It is also dangerous ground for the vampire, and will cause burn damage to them as long as they are within. This area features the following amenities:
- Lobby: Stools. If it weren't for the floor tiling, you'd probably expect this place to be a warehouse like the one nearby but for chairs. Those candles, by the way, are basically glued onto the tables. You can't take them. Has an Ouija board for limited conversation with the dead.
- Confessional: Two booths with linked by an intercom. Oddly...fitting for these technological times.
- Mass Driver: Launches items into space. Meant for coffins, but more often used to escort wizards and traitors from the premises.
- Chaplain's Office: The chaplain's starting point. Contains a spare bible, a vial of holy water, and the Deus Ex Machina vending machine, fully stocked with plenty of great outfits.
- Morgue: Almost never used, so a decent place to hide corpses/the evidence. Bodies put in trays do not decay. The doctors in medbay can send corpses here from their morgue.
- Crematorium: A separate room above the chapel for specifically turning people and their belongings into a pile of ash. Has the same sounds as the Kitchen's oven for some reason. The Chaplain's preferred method of disposing of changelings.
Maintenance Information
There is a vent. It's in the Morgue area, and, for some reason, its connector is hidden beneath a chair in the central hallway.
The APC for the Lobby area is near the Confessional. The one for the Chaplain's Office located on the room's northern wall; this APC also control the Crematorium room. The Morgue's APC is near the door opening to the Chapel.

The Chapel is the holy section of the station, located not too far from two places people mostly visit in preparation for "emergencies". This area features the following amenities:
- Lobby: Stools. No wonder the tourbot calls this a chair depot.
- Confessional: Two booths with linked by an intercom. Oddly...fitting for these technological times. Probably safer considering all the sorts of crazies on this station.
- Mass Driver: Launches items into space. Meant for coffins, but more often used to escort wizards and traitors from the premises.
- Chaplain's Office: The chaplain's starting point. Contains the Deus Ex Machina vending machine, a vial of holy water, some coffins, and a lovely reed organ.
The APC for the Lobby area is near the mass driver. The one for the Chaplain's Office is in its southeast corn, behind the potted plant, while the one for the Crematorium is on its right wall, near the window.

The Chapel is the holy section of the station, located right next to two places that need prayer the most. It's is the only place on the station that prevents wizards from casting spells and is dangerous ground for the vampire, as it will cause burn damage to them as long as they are in the area. This area features the following amenities:
- Lobby: Stools. Isn't that comfy? At least there's a free bible here. It also holds a public crematorium for some reason. Anyone can open and close the tray for it, but only the Chaplain, Janitor, Security Officers, Detective, Head of Personnel, and Captain can actually press the switch to activate it and turn whatever/whoever was shoved inside into ashes.
- Confessional: One booth is separated by a wooden table, for obedient, pious crew members. The other is separated by a steel shutter, for...the less obedient of those Security has captured.
- Chaplain's Office: The chaplain's starting point. Contains a spare bible.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent.
The APC for the Lobby area is on the western wall, near the Confessional. The one for the Chaplain's Office is located on the room's eastern wall, near the little desk.

"Cult" temple. | |
Lobby: Everybody |
The Chapel is a holy section of Oshan Lab, located in the general northeast of the station. Its consecrated ground prevents wizards from casting spells and causes burn damage to any vampires foolish enough to stand on it. For whatever reason, the Chaplain keeps claiming that this place is really a "temple" to "the Great Old Ones who lived ages before there were any men", but everyone knows this is just an excuse for them to draw crayon pentagrams on the floor and shank monkeys over them.
When the Chaplain isn't trying to remodel this place for an obelisk to "Yog-Sothoth, the key and guardian of the gate" or somehow make themselves into a "Deep One", this Chapel has four facilities:
- Lobby: Pews AND chairs, two flavors that go great together. Contains candles, Ouija boards, a wardrobe of costume pieces, and a mass driver for escorting Wizards and Traitors off the premises.
- Confessional: Two booths with a simple wooden table between them. Includes tarot cards for...reasons?
- Chaplain's Office: The chaplain's starting point. Contains a spare bible and their Deus Ex Machina vending machine, which comes stocked with spiffy outfits and spare holy water.
- Crematorium: A dark-tile room above the office for turning people and their belongings into a pile of ash. Has the same sounds as the Kitchen's oven for some reason. The Chaplain's preferred method of disposing of changelings.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. It'd probably be clogged up with blood from "sacrifices".
The APC for the Lobby area is in the top middle of the north wall, near the mass driver. The APC for the Chaplain's Office is located the room's top left corner, as is the one for the Crematorium.

Being an ecumenical matter.

Just as United Command brings together many different nations, this Chapel above the capital brings together many different space religions, from Space Catholicism to Space Sikhism to Space Buddhism, and all the other religions in-between. Each one abhors the unholy; Wizards in this area cannot cast spells, and the chapel's holy ground burns any Vampires who have not accumulated enough blood.
While the theocracy the Chaplain runs handles some complicated space religious affairs, the room itself is fairly simple. The actual chapel area is just a couple of somewhat decrepit pews, a little wooden desk, organ, and bible for an altar, an Amusing Duck for entertainment, and a mass driver for burials (and occasionally executions) in space. The maintenance area above holds a few coffins, and there's also a little office with a crematorium for converting people and objects to ashes and a Deus Ex Machina vending machine, which contains the Chaplain's wardrobe of clothes and a pair of magic sandals.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. The pews already have enough holes, and adding a vent would just make it too holy.
The APC for the Chapel is in the top middle, between the conveyor belt and pews. The APC for the Chapel Office is on the right, right of the crematorium.
The power for this area comes from a wire in the maintenance area above.

Hole-iest place on the station, next to Engineering.
Chapel: Everybody |
Just like a real chapel, the Chapel in the lower left/west/port section of the Manta is where the Chaplain and other crew members perform religious services, some holy, some not, most somewhere in-between. Regardless, the grounds on which they conduct religious services are definitely holy; Wizards in this area cannot cast spells, and Vampires who have not accumulated enough blood will burn to a crisp.
Notice the nice wooden pews, tables, chairs, and altar and the unique hardwood flooring that you can't find anywhere else. Millions of spacepeople gave their space lives to fight the owls that lived in the forest planet that provided the timber in this room's, among many others. (By the way, the conflict was later adapted into a CGI-heavy film where the people were blue for some reason, and it had the same name as a cartoon series about a bald monk with elemental powers.)
Aside from furniture made from dead trees, this place also has many other features for holding religious ceremonies: candlebras for spooky candle-lit rituals, an immobile camera for broadcasting said rituals over TV, a powerful but easy to use sound-system (just take the mic off the stand, click on it in-hand to toggle it on/off, and speak and deliver) and two keyboard family instruments, one that plays some relatively famous piano and organ clips, one that can play custom-made tracks.
In the left, there's also a private area for hearing confessionals. It has a Ouija board for limited communication to Ghosts and an artistic toolbox full of paint for recoloring furniture, clothes, and other things. Its distinct barf lime green color is sure to trigger double takes for those who remember His Grace. That's all pretty much, nothing related to the secret history behind the Manta here at all...
Chapel Office
A small room above the main Chapel where the Chaplain can have some private, one-on-one conversations with their followers or prepare for worship. Contains a rather concerning amount of small candles, an equally concerning painting depicting a landscape on fire, the Chaplain's locker of religious clothes and pair of magic sandals, and a separate wardrobe for their very well-made, very expensive "Vincent Price playing Matthew Hopkins in Witchfinder General" costume.
Crematorium
An even smaller chamber above the Chapel Office for funerary services. As it should, this room has a crematorium that turns people and their belongings into ashes, but it also contains two morgue units for preserving bodies for wakes, an ejector chute for receiving corpses sent down crematorium chutes, a box of biohazard bags for storing personal effects, and two coffins for those who request to be buried at sea rather than cremated. Speaking of which, crew members who have such preferences should consider the Torpedo Bays. No, really.
Maintenance Information
There are no vents in any of these rooms. They're a little too hole-y for the Chaplain's tastes.
The APC for the Chapel is in the confessional booth. The APC for the Chapel Office is by the entrance to Crematorium, and the APC for the Crematorium is on its right wall.

- Main Area: Actual pews, so the chapel can look like a legitimate place of worship rather some sort of chair depot.
- Chapel Storage: A small tileless area in maintenance to the east with extra coffins.
- Confessional: Two booths with a table between them.
- Chaplain's Office: The Chaplain's starting point. Contains a Deus Ex Machina vending machine with great outfits.
There is a vent supplied from a hookup southeast of the chaplain's office, so you can fill the room with the holy spirit.
The Chaplain's Office has an APC on its north wall, the Crematorium has its own APC on its west wall, and everything else is controlled by the APC on the northernmost wall.
