Stock Market Room
Due to !!DRASTIC!! budget cuts in Cogmap2's Financiers Division, there is no longer a room solely dedicated to investing in the stock market. However, you can still find Stock Market computers in the booths of the Public Market, which have excellent safety shutters, and parts opposite Customs, which, while completely open to the main hallway, have excellent carpeting and views of a great aquarium.

The Stock Market Room is a special place in the Public Market dedicated to stock broking, the fine art of watching numbers go up and down. It's lot like slots but for the wealthy and well-to-do. That's why all the hallmarks of a stockbroker's high-roller life are here: quality upholstery, a penthouse-esque view of outer space, monopoly hats, and a closet of impossibly fancy formalwear, for both the broker and their personal maid/butler.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. Vents are for plebeians.
The APC for this room is in the northeast corner of this room.

The Stock Market is a special place across from Robotics where the "rich" and "wealthy" people of Donut 2 go to check their "shares", drink champagne, wear weird hats, admire wooden floor paneling, and scream incessantly when the singularity consumes their stock market computers. Which is a tremendous improvement, because watching and hearing about numbers go up and down gets boring real fast.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. It would react with the wood treatment in here. Explosively. So it'd be a real improvement,
The APC for this room is in the top right corner of this room.

The Stock Market is a special place in the Supply Depot for people who, like the Quartermaster in the Cargo Bay, make money from selling the fruits of others' labors, albeit in a much more abstract form involving shares and equities rather than crates and shipping. While stock-brokering doesn't always make them rich, the fancy carpeting and wardrobe of fine formalwear does makes them feel rich, even when prices are dropping like victims in a shotgun rampage.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. Vents usually don't make people feel rich, just cold. (Not that there's much of a difference between the two.)

There's no room explicitly called the "Stock Market Room" on the NSS Manta. If you want to buy and sell parts of the ownership of a company, go to the Cargo Bay, a place where they buy and sell more tangible things, in the lower left/port/west of the ship, and check out the Cargo Bay Office.
