Engineering's gas storage right across the hall probably doesn't do it any favors, either, and neither does the [[Medbay#Kondaru|Medbay]] down the hall. This Detective's Office is the cluttered workspace of the station's unstable trusty detective, located right outside a hive of scum and villainy. The lower section is a classic detective office straight out of those film noir movies, where a distressed madam barges into the private eye's office, whereupon the protagonist proceeds to spout some a monologue with very quotable lines. For differentiation, there is a records cabinet and camera monitor in the scene.

The upper section is a more utilitarian office that contains important detective tools such as a desktop lamp and booze. It also has a wide range of forensic tools that in theory are used to solve crime, which are detailed in the Detective page.

Maintenance Information

It does not have its own air vent, but it can receive air from the vent in the Bar connected to West Emergency Air Hookup

The APC for this room is located in a maintenance corridor right of it. In fact, it is just outside the room where all the forensics equipment is.

The power is supplied via a cable in that same corridor.

The lights are technically malfunctioning, but the Detective doesn't want to get better bulbs because it's apparently not a very "noir" thing to do.
