Warehouse: Maintenance Technical Storage: Mechanic, Staff Assistant |
Central Storage (also known as Warehouse) is located in the south, left of the Refinery and above the Public Market. It's basically a junk drawer for all the rejects that weren't cool enough for all the other departments or general storage areas. This is not a bad thing, for this contains many useful items which usually can not be found anywhere else, all put there to distract Staff Assistants from farting on the Chaplain. Some items of interest:
- A utility belt...somewhere.
- A flash, apparently just standing out in the open. What's it doing here?
- Some meteor shield generators, in case your station is in the path of some migrating space rocks. Maybe you could film them with....
- A spare mobile camera that broadcasts to all televisions.
- A bunch of storage tanks in a little side room for water, compost, helium, welding fuel and fire fighting foam!
- Lots of computer circuit boards in the same side area. There's even a cart with lots of wire nearby, how generous!
- A box of robot parts for cyborg construction. Battery not included.
- A cardboard box. You could cosplay a box. Or Solid Snake. Or Solid Snake cosplaying a box. The possibilities!
- A laptop that folds into a briefcase for bludgeoning people with.
...and so much more.

There is no vent. We checked all the boxes, and it was definitely not there.
The APC for this room is towards the southern end, near the entrance into Public Market

The Warehouse, located between engineering and the cargo bay, features an array of various supplies:
- Tools
- Building materials, such as metal, glass, floor tiles, rods and table parts
- Bots
- A water tank and welding fuel tank.
- Fire extinguishers and flashlights for emergencies
- ABC-Us and blueprint markers
- A utility belt...somewhere
- Other random crap
The corridor outside is also well-stocked with various vending machines, including the fabled broken paint dispenser. Perhaps there a way to repair it...?

There is no vent. They couldn't fit it in with all the other random crap.
The APC for this area is sort of in the middle of it, near the pipe dispenser.

The Warehouse is a special storage room across from Tool Storage used to store various doodads and doohickeys that couldn't quite make it into EVA or Tool Storage, such as:
- Various tools
- Building materials, such as metal, glass, floor tiles, rods and table parts
- A cleanbot, floorbot, and firebot.
- Fire extinguishers and flashlights for emergencies
- A 400u tank of fire-fighting foam.
- Some sort of disposal pipe dispenser. If you ever felt like being a Space Plumber, this is probably your machine.
- The fabled broken paint dispenser. Perhaps there's a way to repair it?
- Three emergency oxygen closets. One of them should an air tank...or not.
- A utility belt...somewhere.
- Other random crap

There is no vent or air injector. Not that anything here would need it.
The APC for this room is the maintenance tunnel right of it.

The Warehouse is...a place, located near engineering, with various piles of potentially useful stuff, like:
- Tools
- Building materials, mostly just glass and metal sheets
- Bots of varying usefulness
- Fire extinguishers and flashlights for emergencies
- A special room with ABC-Us and blueprint markers, plus loads of materials for them.
- A utility belt...somewhere.
- A high-capacity water tank. Maybe you could water a really big farm with it or something.
- A device analyzer. At least Mechanics is close by.
- Other random crap.
Behind those shutters is the Emergency Internals room, which holds no less than eight emergency oxygen closets, each with some form of portable oxygen for sorta safely walking around (but not across, you'll want a space suit and helmet for that) hull breaches and other places without oxygen. The shutters can only be lifted by pressing a switch in the Captain's Quarters, usually only by the Captain or a helpful AI.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. At least there's lots of oxygen tanks in the Emergency Internals room...if it's open.
The APC for the whole room, including Emergency Internals, is only accessible the Emergency Internals room, near the shutter leading into maintenance.

Despite the name, Central Warehouse is neither in the center of the station nor a warehouse, but rather a dark, ill-lit, and cluttered as hell storage room below the Quartermaster's Office in the southwest. It's basically a junk drawer for all the random crap that was not cool enough for EVA, not generally useful enough to be in Tool Storage, not useful in an emergencies to be in either Emergency Storage rooms, and not specialized enough to belong in any specific departmental storage rooms. The station rejects that dwell here include:
- Boxes and crates, some empty, some not.
- A random roll of wrapping paper.
- A fuel tank
- Random tools.
- Old, crusty lounging chairs.
- A handy ladder for entering and exiting holes in the Seafloor. In the sea. By a ladder. Sea ladder.
- A box of dice and manuals for playing old edition Syndicates & Stations.
- A utility belt...somewhere.
- A forklift. No license necessary.
- Speaking of vehicles, a door that leads to some cargo carts. But no tug--it's in QM with the cool kids.
- High-visibility vests. Maybe you could roleplay a construction worker. Or an angry crossing guard.
- A device analyzer in another random crate.
- Other random crap.

There is no vent. It was cool enough to get accepted by the Toxins kids.
