Engineers' "treasure" hoard. | |
The Emergency Storage A area is the Engineering department's primary storage room, sister room to the mostly public Emergency Storage B. It's located in the southwestern parts of Engineering, directly accessible from the main corridor, and contains all the manner of objects for many engineering emergencies, primarily :
- Hull Breaches
- Three racks with engineering space suits and internals.
- Breach carts, well-stocked with metal sheets, glass sheets, and welding fuel tanks
- An energy shield generator for blocking off hull breaches.
- Four high-capacity canisters of air mix.
- Fires
- Three racks with firesuits, gas masks, and air tanks
- On the same racks, fire-fighting grenades.
- Also on the same racks, extinguishers.
- Two firefighting foam tanks, 400 units.
- General
- On the same racks of the space suits, three mechanical toolboxes. May never know when they'll come in handy!
- A general manufacturer for producing more tools, light tubes and light bulbs, and extinguishers, among other things.
There's also two scrubbers and two air siphons for more niche atmospherics work. In addition, there is a VendoMat, three flashlights on the space suit racks, and a table with randomly chosen medkits.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. The air canisters have enough air already, and they're pretty fine at refilling all areas, not just this one in particular.
The APC for this room is in the maintenance corridor below, just outside the "maintenance access" airlock.

Emergency Storage A is a tiny little closet near the Owlery with various things useful to have in an emergency (and sometimes non-emergencies too). There are gas masks and oxygen tanks, a big ol' blue canister of oxygen, a few metal sheets, some medical supplies, a box of tools, a fire extinguisher and/or firesuit somewhere, and, most importantly, a kitchen sink! This room really does have everything!
Maintenance Information
There is no vent.

This little alcove near the Pool is Emergency Storage A. Even though the A would suggest it's the primary emergency storage room, in reality, Emergency Storage B sees far more use, largely because it has gear most crew can actually see themselves using, like oxygen tanks and medical supplies. Poor Emergency Storage A just has air siphons, air scrubbers, a firefighting foam tank and accompanying firefighting supply closets, and a whole much of radioactive glowsticks. Poor thing.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. Emergency Storage B doesn't have on either, so it's sorta equal to it in that regard.

This little joint above the Bar is Emergency Storage A. The Chef sometimes visits this place to heal up after rough monkey bouts, and somebody usually grabs the firesuit and/or extinguisher here when there's a fire (and sometimes when there's not too). During power sinks, you might see a few people take a few glowsticks. Besides those, there are also air siphons and air scrubbers for amateur atmospheric technicians.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent.

This little joint on the west asteroid is known as Emergency Storage A. The A doesn't stand for anything in particular; it's just a letter designation, used to differentiate it from its slightly larger Emergency Storage B cousin. The fact that it's near Arrivals is just a coincidence.
It's certainly not a coincidence that this room is well-stocked with supplies though. This place has everything you need for the many things that may go wrong on your stay on Samedi, such as:
- Firesuit, firefighting foamtank, and fire extinguisher for, obviously, fires.
- Crowbars for prying open doors during an power outage, and glowsticks to light the way.
- Air siphons and air scrubbers for gas leaks.
- An oxygen cabinet and air tank for getting air during a hull breach, and a Space HVAC to make them slightly more bearable.
- Medical patches and medkits for (what else?) medical emergencies.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent, which is shame, because they're often much more useful than air siphons.

This modestly-sized joint a little bit above the main pod bay is Emergency Storage A, a storage room with various tools and devices useful in certain emergency situations, such as:
- A firefighting foam tank, air tank, firesuit, firefighting grenades, and loads of fire extinguisher for, obviously, fires. You'd think a station under millions upon millions of liters of water wouldn't have fires, but they do happen.
- Extra glass and metal sheets, for rebuilding damaged walls, windows, tables, and other parts of the station.
- A welding fuel tank for, obviously,
welderbombingrefueling welders. - Power cells for APCs, cyborgs, and many other things.
- Toolboxes full of tools and a belt to hold them all.
- A Vendomat, with all the components for...detonating emergency bombs we guess?.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent or air injector.
