Just like a real hospital, Medical Doctors often perform surgeries in this Medbay Operating Theater in the center of (well whaddaya know) Medbay, typically either to reattach organs and limbs in the case of a benevolent doc or to remove them to sell to shady third parties in the case of a less benevolent one. Either cases typically result in the patient spilling an absolute sea of blood onto the floor, so there's four (!) drains to soak it all up.
Naturally, because this is a surgery room, there're two operating tables and plenty of scalpels, circular saws, staple guns, and other surgical tools on both the tray in the center and the tables on the left. Said tables also have latex gloves and faceshields for looking the part. In addition, there's also a locker with morphine and N2O tanks in an anesthetic locker for more involved/dangerous surgeries, and a black chute to send patients fail said surgeries (and others, of course) to the Morgue.
This room also contains lots of medical supplies, in their many forms, most of it in the NanoMed. There are also bags of spare blood stored in a blood supply refrigerator, as well as a couple of defibs scattered about.
This area is also home to the station's Head Surgeon, who, unfortunately, unlike his IRC counterpart, does not spout humorous markov chains generated from station chatter. Expect to see a few Staff Assistants clamor to see him anyways.
Maintenance Information
The East Emergency Air Hookup/Electrical Substation can resupply air to this area.
The APC for this room is on the top wall, near the topmost entrance.

The Operating Theatre is where doctors slice unsuspecting 'volunteers' open with the surgery tools on the operating tables in the center. There is a blood supply refrigerator for storing your lunch spare blood and an anesthetic locker within a few N2O tanks and masks. A quick dump chute to the morgue is also provided for all the corpses that might accumulate. There are is also a rack of paramedic suits and medical belts for those delivering out-of-Medbay medicine.

Are you a Staff Assistant with their butt in the wrong place?
Do you feel a need to eviscerate the nearest monkey and sell its organs to a shady robot on some abandoned-but-surprisingly-intact satellite?
Have too little space in your backpack/satchel/belt and too much space in your chest?
Then come down to the Medbay and schedule a visit to its Operating Theatre! This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with medical science's most time-tested surgical tools and medical aids, and our team of well-practiced surgeons, lead by the Head Surgeon, are highly-qualified in all manner of life-saving surgeries for all manner of medical problems. Schedule now, and you may even get some free patches from the high-tech NanoMed or a complementary blood bag straight from the blood supply fridge. Particularly lucky visitors may earn a free trip to the morgue if they survive the trip down the black chute.
Maintenance Information
Air in this room is supplied by an air injector linked to a connector port in an emergency air hookup above EVA.
The APC for this room is in the maintenance tunnel below.

The Operating Theatre is a part of Medbay where doctors go to practice that thing they really went to Space Med School for: gross dismemberment and dissection of corpses. Hence all the odd sharp-looking doodads and the weird strip of cloth you're apparently supposed to put over your mouth, and one of those machines full of chemicals with weird names.
There are also spare blood stored in a blood supply refrigerator just outside the sliding windowed door. The station's resident Vampire finds these the undead equivalent of convenience food: nowhere near as filling and wholesome as the real thing, but easy to carry and perfect for a vamp who ain't got time to (make a man) bleed. The Operating Theatre is a special place in Medbay dedicated to the ancient art of absolutely eviscerating patients and monkeys for highly dubious reasons. Hence all the odd sharp-looking doodads, the obligatory scary mask, and plenty of latex gloves to dramatically snap on.
There are also a few IV stands and drips for intravenous drug delivery, as well as fridge of spare blood bads. The asylum's resident Vampire loves them like a spaceman loves Space McDonalds: nowhere near as filling as "real" food, but perfect for a vamp who ain't got time to (make a man) bleed.

As part of Chiron's space-cutting initiative, Cloning has been serving double duty as an operating room. Everything that would normally be in an Operating Theatre (surgical tools, blood bags, surgery table, etc) has been moved into a corner of Cloning, located roughly in the middle of Medbay.

The Medbay Operating Theatre is a red and white-tiled room located roughly in the center of Medbay, near the cyro chambers. The "Medbay" part is there so that certain chucklenuts can't claim things like "If it's a theatre, where are the seats?", and the "Operating Theatre" part is because this room is designed for holding surgeries--underwater! (Even though nobody's actually dealing with water.) Hence, the lone OR table, the odd defib, the hand labeler for tagging limbs and other organs, and all the scalpels, circular saws, and other surgical tools lying about.
The Head Surgeon naturally spawns here. He doesn't have hilarious Markov-chain-generated quotes like his IRC counterpart does, but he does bring a warm, welcoming, if rather homely face to these cold, clinical aisles.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. Head Surgeon is deathly afraid of them. Normally, this quirk would end his career, but his coworkers and higher-ups tolerate it because he gives good results.
The APC for this room is on the top wall, near the disposal chute.

A room for real surgeons. | |

As a nation that prides itself on the skill of its surgeons, it's no surprise that the Medbay Operating Theater in the top end of Medistan's main hospital is not only prominently displayed (and thus vulnerable) to the outside world, but also the facility's largest area by footprint, if one considers its cloning lab and genetics research lab separate areas. Its floor pattern also bears one of Medistan's officially recognized seals, a light red plus in the center on a white square with light blue borders, so that people who only hear the "Theater" part can realize that this theater is for real doctors, not Space Hollywood ones. (And that there's no seating.)
And these real doctors have quite a few tools at their disposal. In addition to the high-tech surgical table and two full scalpel-saw-suture spoon-staple gun sets on the trays, there is also a rack of professional surgical garb, with fancy face masks, latex gloves, and real scrubs. On the right is a wheelchair for patients who have lost their limbs, on the top, a locker of nitrous oxide and morphine for anesthetic, and on the left, an IV stand with saline for pre- and post-surgery restoration.
This room also hosts a solid suite of medicine. On the surgery table is a defib, and around it are beakers and brute medkits with styptic powder, useful for treating everything from minor boo-boos to surgical injuries to curb-stomp beatings. There is also a medicine storage locker with various devices for disabled crew members and bottles of epinephrine and activated charcoal and a NanoMed with a complete suite of Medistan-mandated drugs.
The Medical Director's pet bat, Dr. Acula, also begins his day here. As a practitioner of the Samuel Shem school of treatment, he always recommends a tried and true treatment for handling all patients: do nothing.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. There isn't one on the seal either.
The APC for this room is middle of the left wall, near a rack.
