Computer Core has been largely consolidated into the Bridge. If you're looking for the research mainframe, look there. However, if you're looking for the Robotics Control computer, look in the AI Chamber.

The Computer Core is the center of the station's mystical magical computer network, appropriately located below where a talking computer lives. It's sort of Tech Storage's bigger, more mature brother; there's a myriad of computer-related doohickeys here, from floppy disks to ThinkDOS tapes to various terminals. Most importantly, Research's mainframe lives here, so if the telepad starts flashing red, and the Telescience computer starts complaining that there's no connection to host, this is the place to investigate.
The Robotics Control Computer is also here, zealously guarded by the single turret. Circuit boards for the AI Upload and Robotics Control, as well as a spare 'Reset' module, are on the tables adjacent to it.

There is no vent. Guess these computers don't need much ventilation.
The APC for this room is located on the north wall of the room, next to the sliding windoor.

The Computer Core is the center of the station's mystical magical computer network, conveniently adjacent to Telescience and the Research Director's office.
Circuit boards for the AI Upload and Robotics Control are on the tables adjacent to it.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. Guess these computers don't need much ventilation.
The APC for this room is located on the southern wall, next to the Robotics Control Computer.
This room receives power through a wire through the northern Command-access door.

The Robotics Control Computer is also here, surprisingly without a turret to defend it, though the only door to this place is connected a room with three turrets. Circuit boards for the AI Upload and Robotics Control, as well as a spare 'Reset' module, are on the tables adjacent to it.

Spare circuit boards for the Robotics Control Computer and AI Upload Computer in the AI Upload room are also located here, which is why this room is guarded by turrets.

The Computer Core is the center of the station's mystical magical computer network, appropriately in the place where with the people who use it the most. It houses the station's mainframe, protected by a bigger frame controlled by the button on the right, a DWAINE terminal connected to said mainframe, and a Network Radio doohickey that, despite what other servers may make you think, actually controls the computer network signals, not headset radio signals.
While the machinery is zealously defended by a turret, the Robotics Control Computer is not in this castle. Instead, it's with the AI Upload Computer in the AI Upload Room. The AI Upload circuit board and spare 'Reset' board aren't here either; instead, they're in Tech Storage for some reason.

There is no vent. Guess these computers don't need much ventilation. Which is surprising considering how big they are.
The APC for this room is located near the northwest corner of the room, just beyond the thin window.

The SMES Unit for the research station's solar arrays is also in this room. Properly configuring it is of utmost importance, especially when there's a big Telescience expedition in the works.

Samedi's Computer Core room is located in the Researh Rab, accessable via the Research Directors office and the south maintenance corridor. It contains the Robotics Control Computer, a DWAINE Terminal and assorted back-up think-tapes, all guarded by a single turret, which can be shut down from the the panel in the Research Directors office and a secondary panel on the maintenance corridor. Inside a heavily reinforced room, sealed off by a blast door, is the mainframe itself, the Network Radio and the primary Think-tape Databank.
Maintenance Information
This room is powered via a cable that comes in from the south door, straight from the Solar APC.
The APC for this room is located on the north wall inside the reinforced Mainframe room.
The fire alarm for this room is located on the south wall inside the reinforced Mainframe room.

The Computer Core is the center of the station's mystical magical computer network, located right close by the the people who use it most. It's split into two halves. The lower half just has a few terminals and bunch of random networking crap, like data tapes and packet sniffers. Meanwhile, the upper half houses all the important stuff people actually care about, namely the DWAINE mainframe, the Robotics control computer, and spare circuit boards for it and the AI Upload. All of this is protected by one rather mean turret, which is controlled by a turret deactivation control computer in the bottom left of the lower half.
When the Science Teleporter has lost connection to its host, the Research Director often comes here to reset the mainframe. In desperate times, when the AI and Cyborgs are rogue with no hope of reset, you may see a Head of Staff attempting to pull the silicons' killswitches on the Robotics control computer.

There is no vent. Guess these computers don't need much ventilation. Which is surprising considering how big they are. Maybe that's what the weird green tiling is for? Is that what this "isolinear matrix" mumbo jumbo is about?
The APC for this room is on the left wall, behind the table of random DWAINE doodads.

Welcome to the Free City of Siliconzig, a neutral city-state run by United Command. This rather bland building smack-dab in the middle of Atlas is the Computer Core, the capital, city hall, and command center from which Siliconzig's Cyborg and AI citizens are controlled. It consists of two rooms, with the main entrance on the left side of the building, across from Engiers' border.
The first, mostly black-tiled room is fairly innocuous. It holds two DWAINE terminals and a few relatively harmless law modules, which United Command delegates use to modify the laws governing the AI and Cyborgs. It also contains a turret deactivation control console for the Computer Core's turrets, which fiercely fire at anybody who dares enter the second room.
These turrets exist because the second room contains highly-sensitive equipment that could in disastrous consequences for the entirety of Atlas if it ended up in the wrong hands and is thus entrusted to a select group of people. Upon its blue, black, and glowing circuit-like tiles are:
- The Robotics control computer in the lower half, which holds the killswitches for the AI and Cyborgs. One pull of the killswitch, and after a fateful sixty seconds, a silicon life will end.
- The AI Upload in the upper half, a computer that controls the laws the AI and Cyborgs must follow, lest they risk said killswitches being activated. Laws are modified by changing the text on the various law modules on the tables of this room and inserting it into the AI Upload computer. With a few carefully selected words and phrases, enemy personnel could coerce the AI and Cyborgs into massacring all the humans of Atlas...or each other.
- In the middle, the core of the AI itself, surrounded by a reinforced glass shield, with an extra-strong shutter the AI can pull down with a button inside the glass during dire situations.
- An AI shell, a small robot the AI uses for somewhat limited physical interaction with the world and as an auxiliary security camera to view through.
Pilgrims from Scientopia/Researchica occasionally visit this place to seek aid in fixing their Mainframe of Science. They are unfortunately mistaken, because the mainframe they seek is actually in a province of Engiers, Engineering Gas Storage.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. The AI and Cyborgs don't need air or vents, except to exchange the customary *Birdwell.
The APC for this entire area is near the top right corner of the second room with the blue and black tiles.
For Manta, the Computer Core has been mostly merged into the AI chamber. Go there if you want to check on the mainframe.
