This little alcove, known as Robot Depot or GuardBuddy Depot is where all the adorable GuardBuddies live and go to get recharged. No one knows why it's right next to Robotics and not in Research Wing, considering that the Roboticists can't even control the Guardbuddies because they don't have the status required for prman. Maybe it's because they can make robot arms for more Buddies and other assorted robots? Well, at least, this room means there's more power cells for the cyborgs.
Location matters aside, in addition to the standard charging stations, there are also various frames, modules, and other parts for making your very custom GuardBuddy (detailed here), as well as an adorable GuardBuddy costume. Watch out for treachery though, as certain individuals are known to occasionally EMP-grenade this place and send the malfunctioning Buddies on a misaligned justice rampage.
