This is where all the station-clearing bombs, chemical hellmixes, horrific alien weapons, and other intergalactic treaty violations are born. People in Security, such the Detective and Security Officers, are allowed to walk these halls, but only Scientists and the Research Director have access to the laboratories here.
The Research Wing includes the following facilities:
- Telescience Lab, where all the Adventure Zone nerds hang out
- The Artifact Lab, often just called Artlab
- Research Director's
nerd caveOffice, home to ever beloved Heisenbee - Toxins/Plasma Research, the City of Pipes and Fire
- Chemistry, which gets set on fire at least twice a round
- A Test Chamber, which is where the Chemistry fires are supposed to be
In addition, there is also a Pod Bay down south with a single miniputt, for artifact deliveries and trips to the Research Outpost

The NSS Destiny's primary mission is research into the unknown, and most of that research happens here.
The Research Wing is composed of 6 main parts:
- Telescience Lab
- Research Director's office
- Robot Depot
- Toxin Lab
- Toxin Storage
- Artifact Lab
- Chemistry
- Test Chamber
- A bathroom at the end of the hall
These are (With the exception of the Test Chamber and Toxin Storage) all linked together via the primary hallway. The hallway also has a sort of indent in the South side, with an office supply closet, a water fountain, a scientist uniform locker, a table with a few office supplies, and a general manufacturer.

The primary mission of the NSS Clarion is research into the unknown, and most of that research happens here.
The Research Wing is composed of 8 parts, each devoted to some area of science:
- Research Director's office, where the
insanebrave leader of these missionaries of science resides - Telescience Lab - Spacetime manipulation, archeology expeditions HQ
- Artifact Lab - Alien archeology
- Robot Depot - Simple AI programming
- Toxin Lab - Plasma research, especially into its reactivity with other gases.
- Chemistry -
Chemical weaponsStrictly pharmaceuticals and quality-of-life enhancement drugs, for a better living through chemistry - Test Chamber - Chemistry and plasma experiments
- A breakroom with adjoining bathroom. All this science can make one quite hungry.
These are (with the exception of the Test Chamber and Toxins Lab) all linked together via the primary hallway. The north end of hallway, near the breakroom entrance, also has various science-boosting amenities, such as an office supply closet, a water fountain, some scientist uniform lockers, and a QM Supply Request computer, as well as a general manufacturer/autolathe in the maint hall separating Toxins from the rest of Research.

This laboratory complex below the Bar is where all the things that make Admins cry and yell come from. People in Security, such the Detective and Security Officers, are allowed to walk these halls, but only Scientists and the Research Director have access to the laboratories here.
The Research Wing includes the following facilities:
- Chemistry: Where all the thermite-phlogistion-urine-infused
buttssmoke bombs come from. - Research Director's Office: The office and sleeping quarters of the Research Director and their cute and adorable domestic space bee, Heisenbee. Heisenbee is quite a heavy sleeper, considering they can sleep through the things going on in...
- Test Chamber: The designated testing site for all the dangerous things created in Chemistry and, to some extent, Plasma Research, built entirely out of reinforced walls and flooring.
- Toxins/Plasma Research: A series of special chambers used to heat plasma for the creation of special bombs.
- Artifact Lab: An archeology lab of sorts, dedicated to deciphering the machines and tools of alien civilizations.
- Telescience Lab: A rather sparse little room for experimenting with teleportation. Come here for an adventure!...And never come back.
- GuardBuddy Depot: Home of the station's fleet of cuddly GuardBuddies, led by the seasoned Ol' Harner.
Maintenance Information
The air in the general corridor area is supplied by an air injector that's linked an air hookup below the Kitchen.

The Research Sector on Samedi is located on the asteroid south of the 'Big Island' asteroid. There are crew quarters here (complete with beds with Inquisitive-purple sheets) and the rock is shared with Tech Storage. And yes, there is yet another bar.
