Storing gaseous engineering, duh.
As you could can probably guess from the name, the Engineering Gas Storage area right of Engineering's Hot Loop is where, well, the Engineering department stores most of its gas. Specifically:
- Four cans of nitrogen, an inert gas sometimes used as an alternative to plasma in the gas loops, in their own white-tiled room, which looks like a cute lil' freezer room (it's not--you won't freeze in there).
- Four cans of plasma, ready to burn, in a small subroom with lovely red-orange tiles (or is it orange-red?).
- Three cans of oxygen, whose uses should be obvious.
- Three cans of CO2, another plasma alternative.
There's also a two-port mixer, in case you want to mix your gas old-school style. It's a bit weird, but it's nothing your Engineer training hasn't prepped you for, right?
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. Lack of it keeps the Engineering gas in here.
The APC for this room is in the top left corner.
After a scathing essay by the imitable Dr. Woofenschmirtz that resulted in much public outcry, the national congress of Engineering Gas Storage hastily decided to rename the country Databank Room.

Storing engineering in gas form, duh.
Engineering Gas Storage is a room below Engineering Power Room where the Engineering department's atmospherics supplies are kept. It mostly consists of canisters of gas, but there's a few odd bits and ends here and there.
You can find canisters of oxygen, CO2, nitrogen, and air mix here, but for whatever reason, plasma is the most common, since there's five cans of it behind some glass. Supposedly, it's for refilling the tanks of plasma consumed by singularity engine, but let's be honest, they're probably just for flooding the ship with it and starting a roaring fire. Besides, was it really all about the plasma?
Here's another mystery, or at least, some strange choice on the part of the makers: this room also has an Atmospheric Technician locker. Don't get too excited; Atmospheric Technician is still no longer a job, and there's nothing particularly interesting in it beyond the unique atmos tech jumpsuit, a firesuit, a hardhat, and some meson goggles
Besides these mysteries, there's also two air siphons for capturing and releasing gas, two air scrubbers for cleaning up air, a tank dispenser with both plasma and O2 tanks. Should you need to make new canisters of gas, this room also has a gas extractor that does exactly that.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. Manta's mission definitely not about vents.
