Waste Disposal (usually referred to as just Disposals) is located immediately right of the Refinery. It's where all of the junk that gets tossed down disposal chutes goes. Garbage lands on the conveyor belt and is carried in to the crusher unit and then shot out into the Refinery. Anything that passes through the crusher unit will be ground in to a pile of useless scrap, this includes people.
Pressing the button near the airlock will open or close the doors guarding the crusher unit. The lever controls if the conveyor belt is turned off, moving forward, or moving backward.
If you're looking for random and sometimes even unusual items (like traitor items!), start sifting through trash as it comes down and you may just be in luck. Although chances are you'll just find a lot of paper, a dead body and the occasional living person! But, hey, at least you have a guaranteed forklift and mailman uniform, on top what the luck of the draw gives you for the stuff on the table.

The APC for this area is on the right side, near the previously mentioned forklift and the entrance into the Janitor's Closet.
Power comes from a wire that goes under a wall on the right side, near the door into the maintenance area surrounding Mechanics.

Waste Disposal (usually referred to as just Disposals) is a processing room in a nacelle/side-"ship" below Security. Here, all the junk that gets tossed down disposal is automatically loaded onto a conveyor belt headed towards the crusher, which then chews it up and spits it onto another chute that ejects the resulting scrap out of the south end of the South Solar Array. Unlike other stations, the belt is one-way only; there's no switch to change the direction of the belt, only a button to open and closed the shutter leading to the crusher.
If you're looking for random and sometimes even unusual items (like traitor items!), start sifting through trash as it comes down and you may just be in luck. Although chances are you'll just find a lot of paper, a dead body and the occasional living person! There might even be ore of varying usefulness sent down here from the Mining Department.
