The Robotics lab is the base of operations for the roboticist and cyborgs, located above the Morgue towards the right side of Medbay. If the lab is covered in a grotty viscera of blood and gibs and stripped corpses are piling up, do not be concerned: this is an indicator that the roboticist is doing their job well. It features robotics manufacturers, tools necessary for brain surgery, a surgical bed, and docking stations to allow cyborgs to quickly recharge and accept modifications. It also features a crate full of materials for cyborgs construction. The backroom has more equipment and parts for cyborgs and surgery, along with a vending machine with some useful tools.

Robotics is a northwest offshoot of Medbay that functions as the personal workshop of the station's roboticists. It contains everything they need to build all kinds of cyborgs and robots and give people cool robot arms, including:
- Various tools for brain surgery and limb replacement
- A surgical bed/operating table
- Three well-stocked robotics manufacturers
- Two crates with metal and glass sheets (to convert into raw materials via the portable material processor), wires, and empty power cells.
- Two cyborg docking stations for the cyborgs.

There is no vent. Try not to imagine the smell of this place.
The APC for this room is on the western wall, near the table.

Robotics is the laboratory of the station's team of 'borg-building, bot-making, AI-assembling roboticists. If the whole area is flooded with blood, and the surrounding hallway is missing floor tiles, do not be alarmed, for it is Robotics's natural state and a sign that the roboticists are hard at work.
It features not one, not two, but three (!) robotics manufacturers, tools necessary for brain surgery, a surgical bed, a sink (hygienic!), and docking stations to allow cyborgs to quickly recharge and accept certain modifications. It also has a crate absolutely stuffed with materials for cyborgs and AI unit construction, including flashes for some reason (though unfortunately no reclaimer to process it all into raw materials).
There's also a robotics research computer here. It does absolutely nothing, but if you can somehow find someone who played Goonstation during, say, 2010 or so, you might be able to get them to tell about how utterly terrible researching cyborg upgrades and other crap for the manufacturers was and wonder why this computer and its ancient-ass sprite is still here.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. We imagine it smells...old. And rusty. Because blood has iron, you know. And all the steel used, obviously.
The APC for this room is on the northern wall, near the sink.

Robotics is a place in the roughly northern parts of Medbay that functions as the workshop of the station's Roboticists. It features all sorts of supplies and machines necessary in the construction of robots, cyborgs, and AI units of varying usefulness, such as:
- Various surgical tools for brain extraction and limb replacement.
- A surgical bed/operating table.
- A welder and crowbar for cyborg repairs and parts replacement.
- A rack of tool belts.
- Two well-stocked robotics manufacturers
- A portable material processor, which is used to convert wires and material sheets into raw ingots for the manufacturers.
- A crate with a full set of cyborg parts.
- Two cyborg docking stations for the cyborgs.
- A drain. This kind of work can get very bloody very easily.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. Good thing there's drain for all the blood.
The APC for this room is in the maintenance tunnel right of here.

Boogey, roboboogey | |
Robots are taking over the world! They built a cyborg factory on the north end of Medbay, and they've enlisted two Roboticists to man it! That's right, two HUMAN Roboticists! How could they help instigate the end of the human race?
As it turns out, quite comfortably. As far as robotics workshops go, this is one of the better ones. It's not so small that the roboticists and the cyborgs constantly bump into each other, nor is it so large that it feels lonely and empty. Brain surgery tools are right by the operating table, and there's a drain for all the blood that inevitably results. There docking stations and Robotics Fabricators are all mostly to one side. The sideroom on the left is stocked with loads of metal sheets and wire to refill said fabricators, with a reclaimer just by its entrance.
All better to usher in the robot apocalypse of course.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. This is so that the robots can't poison their creators' asses with poisonous gases when the late nineties roll by.
The APC for this room is the top right corner.

Exchanging flesh and blood for steel and copper. | |
On the bottom right end of Medbay Hospital, right of the cryo chambers, is the station's cybernetics workshop, Robotics, easily identifiable by its dark grey tiles. While the Roboticists that staff it do build small helper robots and augment patients' eyes, arms, legs, hearts, and butts from time to time, their main duties are creating and maintaining the region's population of Cyborgs and AIs. To this end, this workshop has:
- An operating table with scalpels and saws nearby to extract brains from (ideally dead) people for cyborg conversion. There is also a suture, hemostat, and staple gun nearby for outfitting patients with previously mentioned augmented legs and arms.
- Two docking stations for recharging, repairing, upgrading, and outfitting cyborgs with funny clothing.
- A welder and crowbar for manually repairing robots in the absence of docking stations.
- A module rewriter for changing cyborg modules.
- A Robotics Fabricator for making prosthetics and Cyborg and AI parts.
- A reclaimer for processing metal sheets and wires into metal bars for said fabricator.
- A table in the bottom left with lots of power cells and a charger to recharge them.
There is also a cargopad for receiving shipments of metal, glass, prosthetics, and other items imported from Cargonia.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. Once, Medistani scientists put a vent into a robot body, only for it to kill two observers and then tear its own head off after activation. Higher-ups were quick to ban cyborg conversion of vents and then any vents in general just to be safe.
The APC for this room is near the top left corner, by the module rewriter.
