Warehouse: Maintenance Technical Storage: Mechanic, Staff Assistant |
Central Storage (also known as Warehouse) is located next to the refinery in the South Sector and is accessed through maintenance corridors. It is a place where mechanics can build something useful for the crew instead of making wire art in the chapel. Assistants also get access, which might distract them from farting on the chaplain. Further north of the room is a specially-partitioned area known as Technical Storage, where several computer components are found.
Central Storage contains many useful items for building computers, which usually can not be found anywhere else. It contains:
- Computer mainboards, storage drives, ThinkDOS disks, ID scanner modules and wired network cards are vended here. Maybe it can vend other things?
- Circuit boards, lots of data disks, a packet sniffer, network carts and network cards are littered over the room.
- Tools and equipment such as screwdrivers, Meson Goggles, a utility belt, and a flash
- A data terminal.
- A bunch of storage tanks for water, compost, helium, welding fuel and NO fire fighting foam!
- A utility tractor, for carrying cargo in style
With some technical knowledge and luck, it is possible to create a DWAINE computer with every program on it, or perhaps a station-wide PDA message broadcasting system. Who knows what else might be possible for a skilled player to accomplish?

Random crap. Everywhere. | |
Everybody |
The Warehouse, located between engineering and the cargo bay, features an array of various supplies:
- Tools
- Building materials, such as metal, glass, floor tiles, rods and table parts
- Bots
- A water tank and welding fuel tank.
- Fire extinguishers and flashlights for emergencies
- ABC-Us and blueprint markers
- A utility belt...somehwhere
- Other random crap
The corridor outside is also well-stocked with various vending machines, including the fabled broken paint dispenser. Perhaps there a way to repair it...?
