Medbay does a satisfactory job being in the southwest, since it's at the intersection of two major hallways, but sometimes, it's simply impossible/inconvenient/impractical to go alllllll the way over to the southwest just to restock on supplies/deliver corpses/get treatment/whatever.
This is where the Medical Booth comes in. It's strategically located right next door to the Pool, right close by to one of the station's hotspots for fights and violence. Not only does it have a locker stocked with various flavors of medkits AND one of those fabulously NanoMed dispensers, but it also contains all sorts of tools useful in wide variety of surgeries. There's also a handy grey chute that leads directly to the Morgue, for hassle-free corpse delivery without the punishing slowdowns.

There is no vent. But it's kinda fine, because it's next to maintenance tunnel with plenty of canned air.

Most of the medicine is right near the lobby, where it ought to be, and it's located at the intersection of two of the station's three major axes, so all the folks in Main Hangar, Research, Engineering, Cargo, and everything in-between can get to here without too much hassle. But what about the folks in Bar? Lots of violence and hurting happens there. It's not exactly a odyssey, but it's still a long trip to Medbay.
Hence, this Medical Booth. It's strategically located just a hop to right of the Bar, and it's basically a Mini-Medbay not just for the Bar in particular but for the north/starboard parts of the station in general, from Hydroponics to the Gym to Security. Not only does it have a sleeper and one of those fabulously NanoMed dispensers, but it also contains all sorts of tools useful in all sorts of surgeries, so you can get your arm reattached without having to go through an entire arm of the station to just to get to a place with an operating table.
There's also a handy grey chute that leads directly to the Morgue. It works wonders for fast, hassle-free corpse delivery and can even work as an emergency escape route--provided nobody's blown up the station, of course.

Medical Booth is Medbay's adorable little outpost above Escape. There's not much here besides a few bottles of epinephrine, a NanoMed dispenser, and a chute into the Morgue, but it does a fine job serving patients who are stuck in the northern parts of Destiny but can't make it to Medbay in time and patrolling doctors who want to restock on supplies but don't want to travel all the way south back to Medbay.

Just as Security has a little outpost near Cargo to deal with crimers who strike in the northern half of the outpost, Medical has its own little outpost near Arrivals and the Bar, in the form of this Medical Booth, to deal with patients in the northern half of the station with emergencies that are too urgent/inconvenient to take to them back to Medbay. It's basically a miniature version of Medbay, a Medbay Abridged if you will, boiled down to its most essential (or at least most popular) components:
- A NanoMed dispenser, well stocked with all sorts of medical supplies.
- A sleeper to stabilize patients with, so that the fact that the medical dispenser is all the way in the back doesn't hurt as much.
- A IV stand, with a box of empty IV drips in the table nearby.
- One of those neat hyposprays, with epinephrine, charcoal/antitoxin, silver sulfadiazine, and styptic power reserve tanks nearby.
- A operating table, with plenty of surgical tools close by.
- A pair of kickass health goggles.
- A drain. Medical work can be a messy affair.
- A chute that goes straight into the Morgue, for fast and easy corpse deliver to Medbay without the annoying slowdown.
