The Security Foyer Checkpoint in the middle of Security is basically a reception desk for the rest of the area. Here, Security personnel can talk to people who come here to ask for help, monitor people coming in and out of Sec, and maybe even open the two main entrance doors nearby with that button in the top left to certain people in. Or, maybe just eat some donuts and nap.
This checkpoint has a Sec Computer for working with the Security Records database and Security Cameras for remote reconnaissance of the ship. There are also forensic scanners for investigative work, boxes of tracking implants, loyalty implants, and flashbangs (one of these things is not like the others), and some office supplies and stationary, including a note handily reminding people that the segways are below Cargo.
Maintenance Information
There is no vent. Most of the ships' vents are on a donut and coffee break to the local Sea Krispy Kreme.
