If all you've ever wanted to do was sit in the Gym and challenge people who enter the ring to boxing matches, then the Boxer is the job for you. You start ready to rumble, equipped in just shorts, shoes, gloves, backpack, and a will to survive, and when you spawn, you get a prompt for a cool name to go by. Unfortunately, you can only formally become a Boxer by joining after a round's started on Sundays, where there are four slots for crazy tag team matchups or chaotic free-for-alls. That said, anyone can become a boxer in spirit by putting on the boxing gloves and shorts in the Gym!

If no one seems willing to fight you, try fighting one of the station's monkeys. Depending on how much you care about dying, you can put boxing gloves on them and do a regular match or take your gloves off and fight barehanded like a real fight. Either way, you won't be disappointed. Monkeys on Goonstation don't monkey around!

This job has quite a sordid past. Back then, people often used this job as an excuse to punch people bloody, steal shit, and just generally cause grief. Most boxers who did this often wound up dead or stuffed into a brig cell by angry security guards who were sick of being punched in the gut. Not surprisingly, this job was discontinued during the early history of Donut Station 2, then recontinued years later as a randomly available gimmick job.
