Everyone on the station has a job, that comes with an ID and a specific amount of access to various parts of the station. This page will help you figure out what your job assignment actually means.
But wait, I'm new, what job should I pick?
Assistant. It does not matter which kind. Once you are in the game, wander around the station until you find a work zone where people look like they're doing something, as opposed to getting drunk or farting on people. Then simply ask the people who are working if you can learn their job. Most people will be delighted to teach you, but their patience may run out very quickly if you don't know the basics of the UI. Read the Quickstart first!
