Information About Goonstation
|
What the hell is this?
This is an information source for the Goonstation branch of Space Station 13, a multiplayer role playing game renowned for its stable and functional engine, its robust combat system and its polite, cooperative community. If you boast an array of self-diagnosed social defects along the lines of autism, aspergers and being an arrogant, whiny teenager, you stand a very good chance of fitting in with our expansive horde of players.
Who runs the joint?
Residents of the forums on Something is Awful dot com, collectively referred to as "goons", make up the primary demographic. You can be a goon too - all you have to do is pay a one-time fee of $10 to Grand High Comrade Overlord Lowtax and you too can openly express the fact that you are better than everyone else in the game! Be aware, however, that registering purely for privileges on Goon-managed game servers is frowned upon and may cause symptoms such as (but not limited to) lethargy, drowsiness, unpopularity on the internet and vomiting.
Where should I be going now?
Slow down, hot stuff! It depends on what you need - the banners display dynamic information about live games and link directly to the servers. The smaller buttons will take you on adventures BYOND your wildest dreams.
