Gameplay-wise, it's meant for relatively small numbers of players, though that doesn't prevent from having plenty of nooks and crannies for [[antagonist]] mischief.

NT40 Tidal Current Turbines

See also: NT40 current turbine operating manual

Neon is equipped with a secondary method of power generation: harnessing the tides! Think of these as solars, but underwater. There's four in total; two to the north, and two to the south.

Setup

  1. Pay close attention to where the turbine shaft is. If you extend it past the base of the turbine, you'll mess it up!
  2. Using the controls on the turbine base, carefully extend the turbine until approximately 30 kW of power is being generated or the end of the turbine shaft is right up against the base. If the power suddenly dips after extending it, retract it!
    • If you've reached the end of the turbine shaft, pull another length of shaft into place so that it is oriented with (but is not directly on top of) the existing shaft, then wrench it into place.
    • If you've overextended the turbine and it's making horrible noises, pull a length of turbine shaft onto the same tile as the turbine base, then wrench it into place to fix it.
    • Somehow making a negative amount of power? Extend or retract the turbine out of the current until it comes to a complete stop, then reverse the stator. Now, try again.
    • Ran out of turbine shafts, or managed to lose the turbine blade itself? Make some more at an Engineering Specialist Manufacturer.
