Malpractice and scrubs at every corner.

The Medbay is where all the doctors hang out, and where most of the medical supplies are stored. This includes medical vending machines, the Port-A-NanoMed, cryo cells, two sleepers, plenty of hyposprays and those kickass health goggles. Doctors would be wise to equip themselves when they arrive or spawn, since accidents happen quite a bit aboard. Medbay also houses the cloning machine, which can be used to revive the dead under certain conditions.

For further information, see Doctoring.

Pharmacy

DestinyPharmacy.png

The Pharmacy is essentially a mini-chemistry, but for doctors. It contains all the utilities needed for synthesizing medical supplies to apply to your patients.

Robotics

DestinyRobotics.png

The Robotics lab is the base of operations for the roboticist and cyborgs. If the lab is covered in a grotty viscera of blood and gibs and stripped corpses are piling up, do not be concerned: this is an indicator that the roboticist is doing their job well. It features robotics manufacturers, tools necessary for brain surgery, a surgical bed, and docking stations to allow cyborgs to quickly recharge and accept modifications. It also features a crate full of materials for cyborgs construction.

For more information on this topic, see Roboticist, Robots, or Cyborg.

Operating Theatre

DestinyOperatingTheatre.png

The Operating Theatre is where doctors slice unsuspecting 'volunteers' open with the surgery tools on the operating tables in the center. There is spare blood stored in a blood supply refrigerator as well as a few N2O tanks and masks in an anesthetic locker. A quick dump chute to the morgue is also provided for all the corpses that might accumulate.

For more information on this topic, see Surgery.

Treatment Rooms

DestinyTreatmentRooms.png

The Treatment Rooms are two rooms where you can study regular patients and evaluate their recovery. There are adequate supplies to facilitate treatment. There is also a large NanoMed Plus for needed medicine.

Pathology

DestinyPathology.png

The Pathology Lab is located in the port side of Medbay and contains all of the equipment necessary to regret researching diseases. For those unfortunate enough to become your test subjects (regardless of how that happened), there is a quarantine cells in the south.

For more information on this topic, see Pathology Research.

Genetics

DestinyGenetics.png

The Genetics Lab is where geneticists turn people into gibbering wrecks in their attempts to find superpowers using the DNA modifier. Watch out, though, as traitors can occasionally have an objective to kill the monkeys housed here, and antagonists are known to blow up the nearby cloning devices so their victims can't be revived.

For more information on this topic, see Guide to Genetics.

Morgue

DestinyMorgue.png

The Morgue is located conveniently below the cloning lab and to the left side of genetics, this place has been specifically designed to preserve and store dead bodies so they will stay fresh for forensic analysis into the cause of death, cloning them back to full health or, failing that, cutting out their brains and putting those into cyborgs.

So naturally, bodies are left to rot where they fell, or right on top of the cloning scanner for extra irony.

A set of disposal pipes connects this room directly to the Medbay Lobby, so that any dearly departed that end up here can be given a proper burial further abused for a macabre farce.
