Set on the ocean planet of Abzu, just like Oshan Laboratory, the Neon Deepwater Research Facility (or Neon for short) is set in the midst of a strange coral reef made out of plasmastone, inhabited by unusually large and aggressive jellyfish (and, according to rumors, much larger creatures), hiding some unique genetic mutations. The surrounding seafloor is dotted with hydrothermal vents that release various gases, while the nearby ocean currents provide a steady supply of power for the relatively small crew.
Gameplay-wise, it's meant for relatively small numbers of players, though that doesn't prevent it from having plenty of nooks and crannies for antagonist mischief.
