The westernmost area of the station, between [[Arrivals]] and [[Security_(place)|Security]]. Only the [[heads of staff]] start out with access to this area. It has several useful items and computers, mainly the [[ThinkDOS#COMMaster|Commaster]] which is used to call or recall the shuttle.
The westernmost (Aft) area of the station, jutting out from between the [[Visitor Arm]] and [[Security_(place)|Security]]. Department heads have exclusive access. Although only the three actually important ones have their own offices here, the lesser ones are also welcome to rub elbows and get drunk when they get sick of their underlings shooting themselves in the head. It has several useful items and computers, mainly the [[ThinkDOS#COMMaster|communications computer]] which is used to call or recall the shuttle in the absence of a cooperative AI. There's also an array of department-specific intercoms, which could be used in theory to rally security forces or an emergency repair squad, but nobody gives a shit about light blue messages anyway.


The [[Captain]] spawns here in his [[Captains Quarters]]. He also gets a personal [[Pod Bay|pod bay]] in the north end of the Bridge.
The intercom right next to the security head's office door is an easily missed secure hotline straight to the [[AI]]. The switch right next to the captain's cabin door lowers the blast shields over the (double-reinforced) viewports in case of a Syndicate strafing run.
