More dumb shit: How to be a good traitor
Have you played a few rounds as an antagonist of some stripe? Did you even win? Doesn't matter, there are some things that'll make your traitorous existence more enjoyable for everyone, and that's what counts.
Do
* Involve other people. There is good reason to suspect that Mindslave Implants are underpriced on purpose. You can get up to three loyal mindslaves if you're willing to spend the telecrystals, and that's three more guys who get to be lightweight traitors in the round. An alternative is to litter the station with cheap and mostly harmless Syndicate Items - things that will cause chaos but not get anyone banned for using them.
** This makes you kind of hard to trace.
* If you rampage, be good at it. (And get the damn shuttle called eventually.) People like watching a good rampage occasionally. People are less fond of dying five minutes into the round, after which the traitor trips on his own shoelaces and gets killed.
* Deviate entirely from your traitor objectives. Being the traitor is a license to cause chaos, and you don't get a prize for completing your objectives. Sell fake mustaches, be the Friendly Changeling, kidnap the AI, it's all good. Just don't be boring.
Don't
* Don't hog the station for hours! If you've killed half the station and completed your objectives, get the goddamn shuttle called! Deadchat is full of people who want to get back in the game, and you should have at least one bloodstained Head ID anyway.
* Don't blow huge holes in the station. Bombing the main corridors is effective, but it lags the station to hell. Expect the shuttle to be called shortly if you do this.
Messing with a hypothetical Computers page. Might lead somewhere.
The station is littered with computers, which basically fall into two categories:
*Normal computers, built around a circuit board providing all the software. Any computer with a GUI, basically.
*Heavy computers and Terminals, built around a mainboard and probably some modules. Either can run ThinkDOS or TermOS just fine, but pre-built terminals tend to run TermOS while heavy computers run ThinkDOS.
Want to build one? Check out the guide.

! TV
|

| Reality shows! Lets you look through certain cameras, such as Telescience's helmet cam. Portioned out here and there on the station, easiest to find in the Bar and Crew Quarters.
|- id="Supply Request Console"
! Supply Request Console
|

| Where the hoi polloi go to put in requests for the Quartermaster to fill. There's one outside Cargo Bay, one in the Bridge and one in the Catering Pod Bay.
|- id="Barcode Computer"
! Barcode Computer
|

| Located in Cargo Bay and all the depots linked to Belt Hell. Prints barcodes for sticking on things so the cargo routers know where to send them. There exist a "General Barcode Computer" and a "QM Barcode Computer", but right now there's no difference.
|- id="ID Computer"
! ID Computer
|

| Lurks in Customs. Used to change ID access level, and (rarely) to check the crew manifest.
|- id="Bank Records"
! Bank Records
|

| Shows the station's three budgets (Payroll, Research and Shipping), and lets you transfer money between them. Rarely used to set crewmembers' wages, and mess with their bank accounts. The Head of Personnel keeps it in his office.
|- id="AI Upload"
! AI Upload Computer
|

| Accepts AI law modules. These days, it's right next to the AI in the Computer Core.
|- id="Robotics Control Computer"
! Robotics Control Computer
|

| Lists all active Cyborgs on the station, and can be used to blow them up. Don't do that without a good reason Jesus Christ!
|- id="Surgery Computer"
! Surgery Computer
|

| Located in Robotics. Currently doesn't work, supposedly scans for implants in whoever is lying on the adjacent surgery table.

|- id="Terminal"
! Terminal
|

| Fits up to two modules (one of which pretty much has to be the ID scanner), requires 3 sheets of metal to build.
|- id="Heavy Computer"
! Heavy Computer
|

| Fits three modules, take 5 sheets of metal to build.
|- id="Mainframe"
! Mainframe
|

| TermOS computers connect to these. They run all the software needed to interact with all the other junk that's connected to the mainframe. The TermOS article is more in-depth about all this.
|- id="Data Terminal"
! Data Terminal
|

| If you want a computer to connect to a network, it needs two things: A network card, and to be built on top of one of these.
|- id="DWAINE Terminal"
! DWAINE Terminal
|

| Found in Artifact Lab and the RD's Office. Has no floppy drive, but a terminal card (network/printer combo). Runs TermOS.
|- id="Personal Computer"
! Personal Computer
|

| A computer running ThinkDOS, with a sound synthesizer module, a terminal card and e-mail software installed.
|- id="Communications Console"
! Communications Console
|

| A ThinkDOS computer with COMMaster pre-installed. Used to call the Emergency Shuttle. The Bridge has two, and it's quite possible to build your own if the Bridge is gone.
|- id="Medical Computer"
! Medical Computer
|

| Found in Medbay and the Bridge. Actually a ThinkDOS computer running MedTrak.
