If you see the changelog is not updated and you want it updated

Anyone with a forum account can update the changelog as far as I know.

Pretty much the agreed upon standard for change logging looks something like

===Changelog date===

;Coder name

* Thing they did

You can pretty much just copy and paste straight from the changelog and make it look like the last one. Not hard.

If the month changes it's also a good idea to hotlink the new month on the calendar thing

That should look something like this

[[#Month Year|Month Abbreviation]] e.g [[#December 2009|Dec]]

If the changelog date looks like ===Changelog date=== Wiki will automatically treat that as a link in the page, so you can link to it using the code provided.

If something doesn't look right screw with it until it works or ask somebody in the forums.

I don't know if there's a need for this, but if somebody's that interested in maintaining the changelog they'll probably find it. Atomic1fire (talk) 18:02, 13 December 2014 (CST)

2024 changelog split

Hello changelog-nerds (cough cough studenterhue), would you guys be interested when 2024 starts, we split the pre-2024 changelog into another page?

The reason why I'm asking this is because

  1. To prevent changelog page from being harder to load
  2. The pre-2016 changelog has changelogs dating back to 2008, making an 8 year difference to 2016, wouldn't a second pre-2024 changelog page with the same 8 year difference to 2016 make sense?

What do you guys think?

You'll want to talk to ZeWaka about this. He has some of his own ideas about how to split it. Studenterhue (talk) 07:43, 20 September 2023 (GMT)
