It's the sprite for 40mm HE shells, ammo for the riot launcher and Rigil grenade launcher. 40mm PBR rounds use the same sprite, so it could be those too. Either way, you've less-than-lethal ammo.
32x32 means it's 32 pixels tall by 32 pixels wide. Good in a bullet list, especially with other 32x32 sprites.
New sprite by "MatheusIsNotAvailable". This new sprite tries to differentiate itself from shotgun ammo, because the previous sprite looked a lot like the shotgun ammo sprites, which caused a fair bit of confusion. The icon on the box, the box itself, and individual rounds shown are bigger, there is now a single blue stripe on the box (contrast with the two stripes on the shotgun shell boxes), and the textures on the edges are a little more pronounced..
