This is what the Arc Electroplater looks like when it's active and in the process of electro-plating things. It's like deep-frying, but instead of fat, it's a material, instead of food, it's any almost any object, and instead of cooking it and making it more delicious, it's giving the object that material's properties. So...not like deepfrying...

Sprite by Flaborized. The artist has decided to keep the "red liquid vat that you 'boil' things" concept (to use her words) but give it a fresh new look. Now, not only does it matches the current sprites for mining and smelting equipment better, but it also has some seriously blinkenlight going on in the corners and a Jacob's ladder-like arc. Whoa.
