*Crew quality of life: Pred should scream when taking trophies. Scream needs to be distinctive (high age rating). Pred should give away his presence with that stupid bird chirping sound or something - have it happen when cloaking, at random and when near people if possible. This is something you should post in the suggestion subforum, not here. Predators have been sort of broken since June 2013 (introduction of the dismemberment system) and nobody could be bothered to commit a fix, so I don't think the coders are very enthusiastic about this enemy role. It's worth a try, but don't expect too much. Werewolves on the other hand work just fine and are fully fleshed out, and yet they don't appear in mixed at the moment. --Convair880 (talk) 07:54, 28 July 2014 (CDT) | |||
I'm trying to keep my post count low because that's the new cool thing to do. Also, I was tired and confused you for someone pushing Pred as a thing again because you added this section. Sorry. You can delete this discussion. I really enjoyed the chance to try test Pred though. (It's much cooler than space werewolves.) --Don (talk) 04:32, 31 July 2014 (CDT) |

I had the chance to play this weekend. It was a riot, and I don't think it would take much to make it viable for both preds and victims.
- Pred quality of life: A HUD icon to toggle the cloak from your pocket. Mask needs to work with internals - can't have preds running around with human gear to survive in breached areas. Needs some form of healing to sustain himself - styptic powder based heal would be thematically suiting with the scream and all. Spear is very open for theft seeing as it needs to be thrown for a stun - pred should have some form of unarmed special attack to compensate if he has to fight a spear wielding assistant. Finally, maybe the spear should be able to break AIs cameras? It'd look silly if he ran around with wirecutters.
- Crew quality of life: Pred should scream when taking trophies. Scream needs to be distinctive (high age rating). Pred should give away his presence with that stupid bird chirping sound or something - have it happen when cloaking, at random and when near people if possible. Wet floors, foam and fire fighting foam should break the cloak when the pred comes in contact with it, giving people a chance to uncloak it.
