MechComp (WIP)

In your lab of secrets you have some neat components found in the MechComp dispenser, which can be used for wonderful useful things.

What do I have?

A lot of different things.

Inputs

Machinery meant to send a signal to other machinery.

Wiring

Delay Circut		Used to delay a signal sent to it by tenths of a second (eg. A signal is sent to it, it delays by how many tenths of a second you want it to, then it sends a signal to whatever you want it sent to). You can set the delay by right-clicking on the square and under "Delay Circut" there will be an option saying "[Set Delay]"[CITATION SPELLING NEEDED]

Machines

Actual machinery dispensed by MechComp.

Sound Synthesizer	FILE NEEDED	Used to produce any talk you would like it to say. Change the text by changing the output signal of the thing triggering it. Currently doesn't work with doors[CITATION NEEDED]

How do I make machines?

Put parts in the places you want, use the wrench on them to bolt them to the floor (use it again to unbolt them if you wish).

Then, link parts together by dragging parts to other parts with your mouse, it will ask you what you want the first item (the item you dragged to the other item) to be, the trigger or the receiver. Select trigger to make the first part trigger the other part, or receiver to make the first part receive the signal from the other part.

Then, it will ask what you want it to do. No matter if you selected the trigger first the or receiver first, it will always be in the context of "What do you want the trigger to do to the receiver?", mostly it will only be able to do stuff like "activate", but there are some exceptions.

A note about doors

From what I can tell, you can only open doors with machines when they don't require any access at all! However, all doors can send a signal to machinery.[CITATION NEEDED]

Advanced Tactics

[INSERT RELAY IMAGE] You can use the Relay Circut to send a signal between a non-MechComp machine to another non-MechComp machine e.g. doors. Currently the only use that I can think of is opening multiple escape doors at once. And if you get it right with multiple Relays, you can make an infinite loop of doors opening and closing.

[INSERT SOUND SYNTH IMAGE] You can only use the Sound Synthesizer with buttons or pressure pads due to the fact that only they can send a specific signal[CITATION NEEDED]. You can change the text by changing the signal sent by the trigger, by right-clicking on the square, and under the triggers menu, click "[Change Signal]"[CITATION SPELLING NEEDED], and change the signal to whatever you want the Sound Synthesizer to say.

Keep in mind that while they can be activated by pressure plates and buttons, they can also be activated by doors!
