It's the sprite for the fire alarm, a piece of machinery (considered an object in BYOND's system of things) that controls firelocks. Did the firelocks trap you in the same room as a fire and leave you to die? Better pull one of these to lift them!
New sprite by MitchSmith. The general design has remained, but it has been reduced in size to, in the artist's words, "match other buttons and equipment while still being large enough to be easily found when going off. They have also gotten a new color scheme to match similar equipment, and are overall more vibrant and colorful."
