Want to stream our server? Fantastic! We are very open to any and all streaming of your time on any of the Goonstation servers. Here are some suggestions for you to make the experience for you and your viewers as smooth as possible.

Stream delays

We are aware that putting a delay on your stream can be a way of killing any meaningful interaction with your viewers. As such, we do not require one. Some admins suggest one but there is no rule that you must have a delay in place.

Metagaming

We do not hold streamers responsible for the behaviour of their viewers unless they are specifically encouraging poor behaviour. We will deal with any and all Metagaming the way we usually would. However, we would request that streamers moderate their own stream chat actively, and make sure that viewers are not sharing in-character information. Even if you're trying your best to not metagame, seeing important information could still influence how you act and could in turn influence your viewers as they play too. We remain committed to not having any form of metagaming taking place on our server. We simply ask streamers to help police the information that is being shared by viewers. We will handle it if viewers act on said information.

Keep us in the loop

It would be appreciated if streamers would let us know when they begin streaming. This will allow us to support them where possible with admin intervention should someone abuse the stream and/or the streamer.
