We really need to clean this up and update it.

Really, the wiki as a whole needs to be updated to an extent, but we have to start somewhere.

The entire 'That's nice, now what can I make?' section is completely up-to-date. --Zewaka (talk)

Material Recombulator is wrong, it's now used for a somewhat defunct material research. In-fact I think the material computer is downright broken. Everything in the "oh god what are these numbers" is correct, there has been no new properties and while the properties values may have gotten change the description for them is still the same.

The workbench really doesn't have alot going for it, so yeah, that section is up to date.

Everything else is just general suggestions, which seem up to date, skimming through it.

Actually, the oh god, what are all these numbers page is definitely not correct. Dielectric strength isn't used to calculate insulation effectiveness anywhere.

It's typically Electrical conductivity instead. For instance, the siemens coefficient of clothing (which determines whether you get shocked or not) is determined with this calculation: siemens_coefficient = material.hasProperty(PROP_ELECTRICAL) ? material.getProperty(PROP_ELECTRICAL) / 100 : siemens_coefficient

I don't have the time to check the rest right now.

Edit: shear, compressive, and tensile strength are incredibly out of whack.

As of this date, the crafting stations necessary for some of the crafting recipes (notably armour for both people and pods) have been removed from the maps. Apparently the guy working on the materials system is dealing with real life stuff, so materials crafting will be next to useless for the foreseeable.
