Recently I've whipped up some forms for when I play Head of Personnel. These forms will probably undergo a few more changes as I'm not totally happy with them, but I'd like a slightly easier way to access them for now and others may be interested in these forms as well. Please also take a look at Adhara In Space's Paperwork and DisturbHerb's Paperwork, two collections which contain a lot more streamlined and better written paperwork for several different jobs. Standardised Filling of HoP Forms
Filling the form begins even before handing it to anyone:
- Due to some people not being a fan of paperwork I always start off by saying "Are you OK doing paperwork or would you rather not?"
- If they say they wouldn't like to do paperwork then I drop it and move on and fill it out myself later on
- For some forms that are quite short and relatively important, like Firearms Permit, I will always hand it to people regardless
If they do accept it, or 30 minutes after they said no to the paperwork and you're feeling bored you decide to fill it yourself for them, this is when the fun really begins!
- If they accept the paperwork I then actually write it onto a piece of paper and initially fill the system number with a 5 digit integer
- I am personally keeping track of the number of forms I've given out and start each new round as HoP starting from wherever I left off last time, however this is only a recommendation for how to decide a code
- I then stamp the paperwork request time with the current time and pass it to the attendant saying: "If you could just only fill in from the "For Attendant" part up until the "Stamps" part, thanks"
- If you are filling the paperwork out for someone else who didn't want to then stamp the filing time with VOID to make it clearer
- At this time it's usually a good idea to radio any potential heads that will now need to deal with the attendants new access
- Once filled I take it back, read it over and then choose whether or not to go through with the request
- Though usually if someone has actually chosen to fill out one of my forms I'm so over the moon about it that I tend to be more lenient on accepting

- Attendants Associated Paperwork should also be filled if their is related paperwork previously filed, or being filed, by the current attendant - this uses the forms system number for reference
- An example is someone asking for increased access and a firearms permit, these both use different forms so have them fill out both and set them as Associated Paperworks

Planned Additions
I plan to add a form just for maintenance access, as going through the entire ID Amendment process for simple maintenance access has so far turned everyone off doing the paperwork.
A form for storing explanations as to why certain requests failed.
More disclaimers and agreements, so far most the forms are a bit empty and additionally they help to explain to people where they should stop writing.
Make the "For Proprietor" section more obviously meant just for HoP, most of the forms I've given out have been misdone, though I've recently created a copy-paste explanation to help people fill them out.
Change some of the lines that you write on to be a bit more forgiving for longer pieces of text. - tgui fixes most of my concerns
