| Oh no, you've succumbed to the <b>Madness</b> of the Abzu depths! The [[Neon|Neon Deepwater Research Facility]] is home to many exotic things: plasma reefs, large jellyfish, and horrors beyond your imagination. When one of the [[Random_Events#Megafauna_Madness|mysterious megafauna]] of Abzu buzz the facility, some crew members may break under the pressure. <b>Broken</b> crew will temporarily get an objective to work against the station, such as destroying a department or killing one of the station's cherished pets. Station security may end up detaining people afflicted by madness until they're no longer afflicted, and [[Haloperidol]] is a potent anti-psychotic.

| Unlike other [[Antagonist]] roles, you must stick to your given objective - one cannot bend the madness to their own goals, but must instead serve the madness. Other crew members may also be afflicted with <b>Madness</b> and you will all share the same goal.
