Chiron Outpost, sometimes called Rockstation or simply Chiron, is one of the possible maps on server GOON#2, designed primarily for low-population rounds. It was designed and mapped by Kusibu/Kubius, with plenty of input from the Goonstation Discord community. As one of Goonstation's newest maps, it is actively under development and refinement, so do not be afraid to report any issues you may find in the Official FIX THIS SHIT thread.
April 5th, 2018 - Present
Chiron Outpost was the first station to:
- Feature a fully lit asteroid cave system (it's still pretty spooky and airless out there though).
- Feature a custom airbridge, spanning the center of said cave system.
- Reintroduce an entirely off-station Research Wing, in the form of the Research Vessel.
- Redesign the Listening Post.
