Summary
The item sprite for the red basketball jersey, which is a, well, basketball jersey that's red. The flavor text claims this is the "Martian Marauders away colors", so it's presumably red because Mars is red.
New sprite by Flaborized. All the basketball jerseys got new sprites during the 2021 human resprite, so the inventory sprites were changed to match. Much brighter shade of red here, and there's more shading, but it otherwise looks pretty similar to the previous version. Even the overall shape is almost the same.
